Hi my name is Gina. I am a fifty-two years old woman with of course bipolar disorder. I have had this disorder for over thirty years. It has become much easier to manage as I've matured. The meds are definitely better and I find it much easier to express myself in therapy.

I live in a two bedroom apartment with my roommate and we usually get along very well. It is a supported housing program and we see a case worker once a month for about fifteen minutes. It's not an ideal situation but it will have to do for now.

Right now I am preparing to go back to college for the spring semester. I have to brush up on a few things and I have already started to do that. My two ultimate goals are to receive a 4yr college degree and then write novels. I wrote my first manuscript last winter and it showed me where I need to improve.
